We are currently seeking a Financial Services Rep / Member Services Sales for a credit union located in Gloucester, VA!
Do you have banking sales experience or sales experience and would like a career in banking? If so, then this is the job for you!
Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire
Pay: $20.00-$21.00/hr
Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm & Saturday 8:30-12:30
Responsibilities:
- Provides members and potential members with impeccable service in person or over the phone.
- Use consultative selling to offer financial products and services.
- Identify opportunities to increase membership and product sales.
- Engagement and educating members on credit union products and services.
- Selling and offering financial products and services to members in person and over the phone.
- Processes new accounts, additional share types, and IRAs.
- Processes consumer loan products including personal, auto, home equity line of credit, and credit cards.
- Process all types of transactions for members, including balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account opening, and all other requests.
- Educates members on products and services, making referrals to internal business partners.
Requirements:

Two years of sales or service experience advising customers on products and services along with professionalism and a positive attitude that fits into a face-to-face financial institution environment.
or:
- One year of experience in a bank, credit union, or financial institution along with sales experience.
- Two-year degree or bachelor’s degree a plus!
