As a Construction Manager at KAI, you will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Reporting to the Project Director, your role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing resources, and maintaining a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. this Construction Manager will have a strong understating of construction projects with an emphasis on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other team members for project integration.
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
- Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, including project managers and site supervisors.
- Foster a collaborative work environment to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide guidance on technical matters and share industry best practices.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and control costs.
- Monitor and control project expenditures to maintain alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project delivery.
- Develop and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
