King University School of Nursing is accepting applications for a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) faculty member. The successful candidate will hold a Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, and be able to be able to teach FNP content specific courses. Nursing faculty work as a team to ensure student success and provide a supportive student environment. All adjunct nursing faculty must be committed to excellent teaching and mentoring students.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold at least an MSN from an accredited nursing program; FNP Certification required; Unencumbered APRN licensure in TN or eligible; RN licensure in TN or compact multistate or eligible; experience in FNP practice; excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in the usage of technology; The candidate must have and be able to articulate a personal faith in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and support the mission of King University.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants holding an earned DNP or PhD; Previous teaching experience in higher education in online environment; Supervision of students in clinical settings; Knowledge of NONPF and CCNE accreditation standards.
Responsibilities: Teaching FNP content specific courses, either didactic or clinical.
Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English required
