We are currently seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers and technicians, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and exceptional service.
Pay Scale:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, performance, and other job-related factors.
What You'll Do
- Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with parts requests.
- Accurately identify, source, and sell the correct parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership systems.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, offering product knowledge, and recommending appropriate parts and accessories.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure timely parts availability for repair orders.
- Process customer orders, invoices, returns, exchanges, warranties, and credits accurately.
- Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper stocking, labeling, binning, and inventory control procedures.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and safe while maintaining professional merchandising standards.
- Follow dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and safety procedures.
- Contribute to department goals by promoting teamwork, efficiency, and a positive customer experience.

What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive parts experience preferred.
- GM or dealership experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
