Duties
- Operate passenger vehicles, including shuttle buses, limousines, and passenger vans, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver goods and personal vehicles efficiently across designated local routes, ensuring secure handling and timely arrivals
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to guarantee optimal performance and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and dispatchers to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and support during transit
- Follow all state transportation regulations and company policies to maintain compliance at all times
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading cargo or equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or in similar transportation roles
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., <PERSON> driver license, commercial driver’s license) with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, or limousine services
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively
- Knowledge of local driving routes, traffic laws, and state transportation regulations
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination
- Prior experience in medical transportation or paratransit services is a plus
- Ability to manage heavy lifting tasks and perform routine vehicle maintenance when needed
