Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items with precision and care, following established recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to ensure food safety compliance
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling additional menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with food handling and storage procedures
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling techniques, and health regulations
- Support team members with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or working in quick service & fast food restaurants is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
