Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate and select correct welding equipment and regulate current, wire flow rate.
- Prepare surfaces, set-up welding equipment.
- Position pieces to be welded in to jigs, holding fixtures, or guides.
- Perform all positions of welding on various structures and metals.
Experience:
- Experience with MIG welding.
- Experience working with Sheet Metal,
- Working experience using blueprints or technical diagrams.
- Experience planning and layout of welding sequence.
Requirements:
- Proficient MIG welder.
- Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Have tools of the trades to include mask, chipping hammer, brush etc.
