Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our expanding Clinical Research Department. This is an onsite position in Spokane.
This position is ideal for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) who enjoys patient care and is interested in advancing the future of dermatology through clinical research. You'll work alongside board-certified dermatologists, research sponsors, and study participants to help bring innovative treatments to patients.

What You'll Do
As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will:

Coordinate dermatology clinical research studies from start-up through closeout.

Recruit, screen, enroll, and obtain consent from study participants.

Schedule and conduct protocol-required study visits.

Perform clinical procedures within the scope of your Washington State MA-C license.

Collect and accurately document research data and maintain study records.

Prepare regulatory documentation and maintain study binders.

Monitor participant safety and report adverse events.

Coordinate sponsor monitoring visits and regulatory audits.

Ensure compliance with FDA, HIPAA, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and study protocols.

Collaborate with physicians, sponsors, research participants, and the clinical team to ensure successful study execution.

Assist with biologic prior authorizations, including insurance approvals and coordination with specialty pharmacies.

Provide Medical Assistant support to dermatology providers as needed.
Qualifications
Required
-
Current Washington State Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C)
-
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
-
Current BLS certification
-
Clinical Medical Assistant experience

Excellent communication and organizational skills
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and able to efficiently navigate multiple electronic medical records, clinical research, and sponsor software systems.
Preferred
-
Two or more years of clinical research experience

Dermatology experience
-
Experience coordinating FDA-regulated clinical trials
-
CCRC or CCRP certification (or eligibility to obtain within one year)

Experience with biologic prior authorizations
