Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Data Analyst Manager to lead our data analytics initiatives and drive business intelligence excellence. Duties
- Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from diverse sources like SQL databases, Oracle, Talend, and Bash scripts for seamless data flow.
- Supervise database design and query management within Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and SQL databases to support business intelligence needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop actionable insights through advanced analytics tools such as R, Python, VBA, and Excel data analysis.
- Drive data visualization initiatives by creating compelling dashboards that communicate complex insights clearly and effectively.
- Promote Agile methodologies within project management practices to ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytics solutions.
- Conduct technical proficiency assessments and provide mentorship to team members on tools like Visio for process mapping or Looker for dashboard development.
- Ensure compliance with Data Governance standards while supporting linked data initiatives for enhanced data connectivity across systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing a team of data analysts or business intelligence professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong expertise in SQL query writing and database management using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar platforms for dashboard development and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Talend or scripting languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or VBA for data integration tasks.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes along with software development lifecycle analysis tailored for analytics projects.
- Demonstrated ability in database design, data model creation, and analysis skills to support complex business requirements.
- Familiarity with business analysis techniques including requirements analysis and analysis skills essential for translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of linked data concepts and experience working with SQL databases to facilitate interconnected data ecosystems.
- Excellent project management skills combined with agility in adapting to evolving priorities within an enterprise setting.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders while fostering collaboration across teams.
