Location: Greater Grand Rapids, MI/ $24-$32/hour plus
A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking a CNC Machinist to join its weekend third Shift team. This opportunity offers a unique schedule, work 36 hours over three days and get paid for a full 40-hour week.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC Swiss-style and/or Mill/Turn machines while maintaining exceptional quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision components.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and communicate issues as needed.
- Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shift transitions and production flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Minimum two years of CNC machining experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred:
- Swiss-style CNC experience.
- Multi-axis machining experience.
- Aerospace or medical manufacturing experience.
- Experience working in precision manufacturing environments.
