We are looking for a teacher who can effectively teach English Language Arts and History/Social Studies to elementary, middle school, or high school students in a small-group classroom setting.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English reading, writing, grammar, and literature
- Teach History / Social Studies (U.S. History, World History, Civics, etc.)
- Prepare lesson materials and adapt instruction based on students’ levels
- Support students with school coursework, writing assignments, and test preparation
- Create an engaging and positive learning environment
- Communicate professionally with staff regarding student progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Education, English, History, or related field preferred)
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience required
- Strong English communication and writing skills
- Ability to teach students from different grade levels
- Responsible, punctual, and professional
- Experience with private tutoring, after-school programs, or classroom teaching is a plus
- Teaching credential is a plus
