Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to sanitation and customer service, making it essential for the Housekeeper to have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to their duties.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Execute floor care routines such as sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring their comfort during their stay.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a healthy environment for all residents or guests.
- Assist with additional tasks as required, including cooking or meal preparation when necessary.
Skills
- Proficient in various cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests.
- Experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Ability to perform janitorial tasks efficiently while managing time effectively.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management principles is advantageous.
- Capability in performing laundry duties and maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces.
