Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician - III to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to perform advanced repairs and maintenance on a variety of RVs, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems within RVs, including RV electrical system diagnostics and automotive electrical systems.
- Perform mechanical repairs such as engine troubleshooting, transmission servicing, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair, suspension work, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Conduct plumbing system repairs and maintenance, including RV plumbing system repairs and general plumbing tasks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting to complete repairs efficiently.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, alignment checks, and suspension adjustments.
- Inspect and repair RV-specific systems including HVAC units, air brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical wiring.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience combined with extensive service technician background.
- Strong electrical repair skills with expertise in RV electrical systems diagnostics.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing automotive diagnostics, diesel engine repair, auto body repair, and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and basic carpentry skills.
- Experience with vehicle troubleshooting across various systems including transmissions, shocks & struts, brakes, HVAC units, and suspension components.
- Knowledge of RV plumbing systems and their maintenance or repair requirements.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting quickly while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
