Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a split-shift position. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with young children, have a strong understanding of child development, and be able to implement Reggio Emilia principles in a practical way.
Responsibilities:
- Morning Shift (7:00 AM - 9:30 AM):
- Greet children and families warmly.
- Assist with morning routines, such as toileting and breakfast time.
- Engage children in play-based learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Foster positive relationships with children and families.
- Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM):
- Greet children as you arrive
- Assist with afternoon routines, such as snack time and outdoor exploration.
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote creativity and critical thinking.
- Prepare children for the end of the day and transition home.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a variety of settings, including outdoors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and routines.
