About the Role:
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsiblefor maintaining automated forklifts, automated cranes, industrial systems, andequipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Servicesjob function. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You’ll Do:
Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs onmechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of automated cranes andforklifts.
Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potentialproblems, and make repairs.
Assist with the installation and modification of buildingequipment and systems.
Support packaging and automated production line equipment
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
Respond to equipment downtime and complete repairs in atimely manner
Maintain safe workpractices and follow OSHA and site safety requirements
Document maintenance activities and communicate equipmentissues effectively.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks asdescribed in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures andprocesses under close supervision and guidance
What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination ofexperience and education will be considered.
Meet the physical requirements of this role includingstooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders and up to 120 feet highwith proper fall protection equipment, and the ability to lift/carry heavyloads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in theapplication of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforwardinformation.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
