Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures in MRI, (Plus if multi certified in CT ) to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, along with strong attention to detail and patient safety. Responsibilities
- Perform MRI, (CT, Xray, Sonography scans a plus) with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and explaining the process clearly
- Operate advanced imaging equipment while maintaining optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes
- Accurately interpret medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to optimize imaging outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to facilitate white glove care to patients
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensure equipment calibration and perform routine maintenance checks to guarantee operational efficiency
Requirements
- Certification or licensure in Radiologic Technology with specialization in MRI imaging
- Proven experience with MRI scans and general medical imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Attention to detail with the ability to analyze images critically for quality assurance
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in medical imaging technologies and practices
Schedule
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 8am to 8pm
Pay: From $58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
