We are a high-end custom cabinet manufacturer seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill an important Quality Control (QC) and Shipping Associate role. As the QC and Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for inspecting wooden parts and assemblies for dimensional accuracy and finish quality, wrapping miscellaneous parts in preparation for shipping, performing basic touch-up on finished parts, and keeping an accurate record of what parts of a job are wrapped and ready to go. Additionally, you will assist other shipping team members with loading trailers.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect wooden parts and assemblies for dimensional accuracy and finish quality
- Wrap miscellaneous parts in preparation for shipping
- Perform basic touch-up on finished parts
- Keep an accurate record of what parts of a job are wrapped and ready to go
- Assist other shipping team members with loading trailers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Ability to accurately and precisely read a tape measure
- Ability to read and decipher shop drawings
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Ability to lift and help load trucks
