Duties
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow across all departments.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Supervise food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Conduct staff training sessions focused on food handling, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to guarantee compliance with local regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control measures, and financial reporting to support business growth.
- Interview potential candidates for various roles within the restaurant to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food service management.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development initiatives.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and reporting.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry.
- Background in hospitality management with exposure to casual dining or fine dining environments preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations applicable to restaurant operations.
- Previous experience managing catering or banquet services is a plus but not required.
