Job Summary
The Repair and Property Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul Area. This role is responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs on residential and commercial properties, including building systems, fixtures, and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues, completing maintenance work, coordinating with supervisor on job priorities, and documenting work performed. The technician will travel to various job sites, interact professionally with clients, follow safety procedures, and ensure that all repairs and maintenance meet company quality standards.
This position involves a variety of hands-on tasks focused on maintaining exterior components, safety, and overall property condition across multiple communities.
We are searching for a candidate who is dependable, skilled, and self-motivated and can perform general maintenance, repair, and general property upkeep for townhome associations, apartments, condominiums, and property management companies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Replace exterior and common-area light bulbs
· Install and replace property signage
· Perform fence repairs and minor carpentry work
· Complete siding repairs and exterior touch ups
· Repair concrete aprons, walkways, and other exterior surfaces
· Power wash buildings, sidewalks, decks, fences, and common areas
· Perform general property maintenance and preventative tasks
· Ensure properties remain clean, safe and visually appealing
· Maintain tools, equipment, and materials
· Communicate professionally with Owner of All Ways Building Services, board members, residents, and vendors
· Document completed work including before and after photos of each job and report any additional maintenance concerns
· Provide quality work within the various expectations/requirements of individual properties
Qualifications
· 0-1+ years relevant experience
· Ability to work under various conditions including sitting or standing for long periods of time and the ability to occasionally lift 80+ lbs.
· Desire to learn new maintenance skills and is able to follow technical instructions
· Ability to provide proficient customer service
· Ability to work general business hours—generally, Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (exact working hours are negotiable)
· Flexibility to work nights and weekends depending on business needs such project deadlines or in the event of emergencies.
· Commitment to safety practices and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul Area.
Preferred Qualifications
· 2+ years relevant experience
· General maintenance knowledge and skills including but not limited to:
o Painting
o Caulking
o Siding Repair
o Carpentry
· Access to own set of general maintenance tools (specialized tools are provided)
· Access to a work vehicle with room for equipment such as a pickup truck or full-sized van
· Ability to work as a 1099 contractor
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, mechanically inclined and comfortable working independently while delivering high quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Compensation
W2 Employee - starting at $20-$30/hour depending on experience.
1099 Contractor – Negotiable billable rate starting at $30-$40+/hour depending on experience.
