Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and specialty drinks following established recipes and mixology standards
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change using POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with beverage recipe development to enhance menu offerings and promote specials to boost sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service flow
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems for order entry and transaction processing
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and mixology techniques
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in high-volume settings while maintaining quality service standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and restaurant operations in fine dining or hospitality environments
- Ability to develop new beverage recipes and promote menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
- Experience working in hospitality industry roles such as bartending, serving, or restaurant management; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations including cash handling and billing accuracy
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
