Employment Details
- Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Contract Term: 24–30 months (grant-funded position)

- Mileage Reimbursement: Mileage and approved travel between program locations will be reimbursed in accordance with Cyber-Seniors' travel policy.
- Travel: Regular travel throughout assigned counties is required.
Position Summary
Cyber-Seniors is seeking passionate, community-minded Lead Regional Instructors to serve as the primary representative of Cyber-Seniors throughout assigned California counties.
This position combines community outreach, partnership development, digital skills instruction, workforce readiness training, participant recruitment, grant documentation, and program administration into one role.
Lead Instructors are responsible for building strong community partnerships, establishing new training locations, recruiting participants, delivering engaging technology instruction to both older adults and working-age adults, and ensuring all grant documentation is completed accurately and on time.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys teaching, networking, organizing community programs, and making a measurable impact.
Essential Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Partnership Development
- Identify, establish, and maintain new community training locations throughout assigned counties.
- Build relationships with: Libraries, Senior Centers, Community Centers, Workforce Development Boards, America’s Job Centers, Affordable Housing Communities, Housing Authorities, Homeless & Transitional Housing Programs, Veterans Organizations, Community Colleges, Nonprofit organizations, Faith-based organizations, Local government agencies
- Schedule recurring classes and workshops.
- Conduct outreach presentations promoting Cyber-Seniors programs.
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned community partners.
- Identify opportunities to expand Cyber-Seniors services throughout the region.
Digital Literacy & Workforce Instruction
Teach both Cyber-Seniors grant-funded programs.
Older Adult Digital Literacy Program

Participant Recruitment
- Recruit participants for both grant-funded programs.
- Promote classes throughout the community.
- Build referral relationships.
- Attend outreach events.
- Follow up with prospective participants.
- Help classes reach enrollment goals.
Grant Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all grant documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
Responsibilities include:
- Attendance tracking
- Participant sign-in sheets
- Distributing and collecting Pre-surveys
- Distributing and collecting Post-surveys
- 8-hour training completion tracking
- Broadband adoption documentation (when applicable)
- Monthly reports
- Class reports

File & Record Organization
Maintain organized electronic folders for every class and partner location.
Clearly separate documentation between:
Older Adult Digital Literacy Program
- Attendance

- Curriculum

- Photos (when approved)
Digital Job Skills Training Program
- Attendance

- Curriculum
- Participant records

Maintain complete and organized files to support grant monitoring and audits.
Community Relationship Management
- Serve as Cyber-Seniors' ambassador throughout assigned counties.
- Maintain excellent relationships with community partners.
- Respond promptly to partner needs.
- Resolve scheduling issues professionally.
- Identify opportunities to grow Cyber-Seniors' presence throughout the community.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Submit paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain participant records.
- Assist with grant reporting.
- Participate in staff meetings.
- Coordinate closely with Program Managers.
- Maintain confidentiality of participant information.
- Ensure all documentation complies with grant requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience teaching adults, older adults, workforce training, digital literacy, or related education.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Experience building community partnerships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong documentation and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Comfortable troubleshooting technology.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple locations.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout assigned counties.

The successful candidate will be subject to a standard background check.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
