Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site supervision will drive project success while maintaining safety standards and quality control. This role will work on a project that involves renovating an existing apartment complex, including units, common areas and more.
Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of the projects Prime Contract
- Keeps the project team advised of all revisions and changes made to the contract documents
- Facilitates the Owner/Architect Meetings as required for the project
- Works with the Project team to see that all required permits needed by the Company or subcontractors for temporary and construction work are obtained in a timely manner
- Complete knowledge of all subcontract documents, drawings & specifications for the project
- Supervision of APM and assist in writing and preparing subcontracts and defining scope of work
- Works with the Project Superintendent to adhere to and enforce the project schedule
- Assesses the project(s) regularly to ensure quality assurance and client satisfaction is maintained
- Works with company leadership during the pre-construction phase to develop the project budget
- Responsible for the accurate tracking and reporting of potential changes orders on the project
- Mitigate risk on behalf of DCI Construction
- Effectively resolve conflicts and problems with integrity
- Maintains positive relations with the public, governmental authorities, owner, architect, engineer and all other involved with the project
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of three 3 years of verifiable experience, thorough knowledge of trades, and computer literate
- Experience in new construction and/or redevelopment required
- Experience in Procore and Microsoft Project preferred
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) Experience working in Procore Preferred
- Ability to multi-task and have flexibility in job duties
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Certified in CPR and First Aid is a plus
