AUTEC Car Wash Systems and Peak Wash Solutions are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to join our growing Field Service team. This position is responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated car wash equipment and related systems at customer locations throughout the region.
This is more than a service role—it is an opportunity to build technical expertise, work with advanced equipment, and play a key role in ensuring our customers' operations remain productive, reliable, and profitable. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, enjoy working directly with customers, and take pride in delivering high-quality service and support.
As a Service Technician, you will represent the AUTEC and Peak Wash Solutions brands in the field, providing professional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Install & Set Up – Bring our car wash systems to life at customer sites.
- Maintain & Repair – Keep equipment in top shape with routine service and on-the-spot fixes.
- Troubleshoot Like a Pro – Diagnose issues and make smart, quick repairs.
- Hands-On Work – Tackle basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks.
- Travel in Style – Use a company-provided vehicle, keeping it neat and ready for action.
- Document & Report – Log service visits and share updates clearly.
- Support Customers – Answer questions, provide training, and deliver top-notch service.
- Safety First – Follow safety protocols and make sure every install is secure and reliable.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Service Tech or in mechanical/electrical repair (bonus if both!).
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills.
- Ability to read diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
- Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing ladders, and working on your feet.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- A great attitude, communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.

Location & Travel
- Our headquarters is based in Statesville, NC (28677); however, this is not a daily in-office role.
- We are seeking candidates located in the Ohio corridor, or surrounding areas within a reasonable driving distance.
- This position requires regular travel to customer sites within approximately a three-hour radius of your home base. Candidates must be comfortable with regional travel to support installs, service, and customer needs as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
