We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Gym Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of RVA Iron Gym. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day gym operations, including shift scheduling, member check-ins, and facility maintenance
- Supervise staff members, including trainers, front desk personnel, and cleaning crews, fostering a positive team environment
- Oversee guest services to ensure exceptional customer experiences and resolve any member concerns promptly
- Coordinate and oversee special events or fitness classes to promote engagement and community building
- Handle cash transactions, membership enrollments, and report writing related to operational activities
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations to maintain a secure environment
- Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, member feedback, and incident documentation for management review
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in hospitality, resort, or restaurant settings with supervisory responsibilities
- Previous assistant manager or shift management experience in a customer-focused environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise diverse teams effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and conflict resolution
- Experience with event management or nightclub operations is a plus
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and report writing techniques
- Background in hospitality or resort management preferred; experience in nightclub or events management is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $49,866.24 - $60,053.97 per year
