58 West (operated by Hocking Hills Winery) is seeking an Experienced Bartender to join our team!
The right candidate should be high-energy, have an outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills.
Overview of Position:
The 58 West Bartender position is responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience, by serving craft beverages and offering recommendations. Familiar with bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. Must be able to multitask and provide excellent communication with team members and customers.
Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a bartender required
- At least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of and passion for wine, beer, and spirits
- Friendly and customer focused.
- Hard-working, team player
- Refined verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of state and local serving guidelines, preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, stand continuous, walk and lift and/or move up to 40-pounds.
