Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Product Engineer with a background in civil/structural engineering, architecture, building envelopes, cladding, or architectural products to join a growing team.This is a great opportunity for someone coming from a consulting environment who wants to take greater ownership of projects while enjoying a more focused, stable work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects from concept through execution
- Develop product details, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Support customers and internal teams with product application and technical questions
- Work with testing labs and material vendors to coordinate product testing and compliance
- Use AutoCAD to develop and review drawings and details
- Troubleshoot construction, fabrication, and installation challenges
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Production, Marketing, and Construction Services
- Help improve product designs, standards, and engineering processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering preferred
- 10+ years of experience with building envelopes, cladding, façade systems, or architectural building products
- EIT/FE preferred
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Hands-on understanding of construction and the Design-Bid-Build process
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities
- Experience with SketchUp, SolidWorks, Fusion, or structural analysis software is a plus
- PE license is not required
