Duties
- Operate Monday through Friday over the road.
- Safely operate Hotshot and other non-CDL vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual handling techniques
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate documentation of shipments
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
- Assist with warehouse activities including inventory handling, moving supplies, and organizing storage areas
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably with Hotshot, Flatbed or similar vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, heavy lifting, and moving items
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently (if applicable)
- Experience using forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus; certification is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of safety standards related to commercial driving and warehouse operations
