Responsibilities
- Respond to residential and commercial emergency restoration calls.
- Perform water extraction, demolition, structural drying, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and general restoration services.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
- Remove damaged materials while protecting unaffected areas of the property.
- Operate restoration equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, clean, and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Document job progress using photos, moisture readings, and required paperwork.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity on every job.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, on ladders, and in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Construction, restoration, demolition, or general labor experience is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate.
Schedule
This is not a standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. position. Restoration is an emergency service industry, and schedules vary based on customer needs. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, occasional weekends, and participate in emergency response as needed.
