We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. If you thrive on driving, logistics cargo handling, and delivering exceptional service, this position is perfect for you!
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, including OTR driving routes.
- Transport refrigerated freight following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
Skills
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning.
- Understanding of FMCSA, DOT regulations
- Strong skills in route driving, delivery driving, and logistics cargo handling.
