The National Society of Tax Professionals is a Non-Profit, seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Program Coordinator – Tax Education to coordinate the day-to-day administration and delivery of NSTP’s tax education programs, courses, and events.
This position manages a variety of responsibilities, including course and event administration, instructor coordination, continuing education reporting, website and database management, educational material production, and event logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage courses and events in NSTP’s database and publish and maintain content on the public website.
- Coordinate with instructors to obtain course descriptions, presentations, and other educational materials.
- Coordinate both in-person and online educational events, including event materials, shipping, catering, venues, and communication with sales and event staff.
- Manage continuing education (CE) reporting and coordinate annual CE audits.
- Coordinate with LMS providers supporting NSTP’s online courses.
- Write and edit content for the website, database, email campaigns, and other communications.
- Write, edit, format, and publish course books and educational materials using Adobe InDesign.
- Prepare internal contracts for instructors, moderators, and other contractors.
- Generate and maintain database reports and records.
- Provide support for our membership program (reports, data entry, etc.).

- Microsoft Office 365
- Mailchimp or similar email marketing platform
- RingCentral or similar business phone system
- Database reporting and data management
- Website content editing and management
- Drupal experience is a plus, but not required
Qualifications
The most important qualifications for this position are excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Tax experience is not required. The successful candidate must be willing and able to learn new systems and processes and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. This position works closely with members, instructors, coworkers, vendors, contractors, and the Board of Directors, so the ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with a wide range of people is critical.
The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
