As a full-time Nurse Practitioner at TNI, you will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing sleep disorders for our patients. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team — including physicians, sleep technologists, and administrative staff — to deliver top-tier care that improves sleep health and overall patient wellness.
Patient Assessment & Evaluation

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and sleep-focused evaluations

Analyze diagnostic sleep studies such as polysomnograms and home sleep apnea tests

Collaborate with physicians to establish accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment strategies
Treatment Planning & Management

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and condition

Prescribe, manage, and adjust medications, therapies, and other interventions for sleep disorders

Educate patients on lifestyle changes and sleep hygiene practices to improve treatment outcomes
Follow-Up & Monitoring

Schedule and manage follow-up visits to assess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed

Track patient progress and coordinate specialist referrals when appropriate

Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and thorough patient documentation
Patient Advocacy & Support

Provide compassionate, empathetic care to patients and their families

Respond to patient questions and offer support throughout the care journey

Active, valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Virginia

Experience in sleep medicine or a related specialty preferred

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
