Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Pet Stylist, where your passion for animal care and grooming excellence will shine! In this role, you will provide top-tier grooming services for a variety of pets, ensuring each animal looks and feels their best. Your expertise will help create a positive experience for pet owners and their beloved companions, fostering trust and loyalty. This is a W-2 position. We have a bather everyday and there is a sign on bonus of $1000. Groomer only cleans their work space at the end of day. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday. You can choose what days to work and how many pets per day. Must do a minimum of 5 pets in at least 4 days to be considered full time for benefits.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services including trimming, styling, and finishing touches tailored to each pet’s breed, size, and individual needs
- Handle animals with care using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff
- Conduct dog training sessions when needed to promote good behavior during grooming and handling
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and well-maintained
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences a
- Support pet sitting or kennel duties as necessary, including heavy lifting of animals or supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed standards and grooming techniques
- Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint methods; experience with animal care is essential
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing, bending, or walking
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Familiarity with pet care routines such as pet sitting or kennel management is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare
