The Club at Berry Creek is looking for an experienced clubhouse maintenance worker to join a dynamic team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
To assist the Maintenance Supervisors with any and all work requests and projects associated with the plumbing, painting, electrical, structural, lighting and group function setups as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Carpentry, painting, plumbing, replacing ceiling tiles, sheetrock, general handyman work as requested.
- Perform all task and assignments that are assigned in a timely manner.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the ordering and maintaining a par stock of supplies in order to expedite all projects, repairs and maintenance.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisors in maintaining all maintenance shops and storage areas in a safe, orderly, well organized, labeled, neat and clean manner.
OTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist department heads with on the spot requests
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
- Directly To: Director of Operations and Facilities Maintenance Supervisors
WORK EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENT:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must have 1-year experience in the maintenance field.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of building maintenance and a strong mechanical ability.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: To have one year experience in plumbing, electrical and mechanical as a general maintenance person in a hospitality or related atmosphere.
WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB:
Worked in a team atmosphere sharing in work projects and ideas as to complete projects in a timely and professional manner.

- Must have open availability to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- UNUSUAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Top physical condition, able to lift minimum 75lbs., climb 20 foot ladders and be able to work in confined areas.
- UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Surroundings; inside and outside - hot, dry, wet, noisy, dirty, oily. Hazards; injury from contact with hot pipes or equipment, electrical circuit or moving machinery.
