Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Maker/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas and supporting overall kitchen operations. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will help us serve high-quality meals that delight our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling to support meal production
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas by following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Adhere strictly to recipe guidelines and portion control to ensure menu consistency
- Support the team during high-volume production periods by efficiently managing multiple orders simultaneously
- Ensure proper food safety management practices are followed at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar food industry role, preferably with restaurant or catering experience
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures required for maintaining a safe kitchen environment
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production is highly desirable
- Excellent food handling skills with an emphasis on quality control and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
