Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of our campground. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of campground areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with health standards, including the use of appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently during cleaning routines.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas associated with camping cabins and campground when required.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Use cleaning equipment properly and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation of tools and machinery.
- Follow safety protocols related to janitorial work, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with proper manual handling techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, outdoor work, and extended periods of manual labor.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
- Experience in outdoor work environments related to residential properties is a plus.
