We are seeking an experienced Remote ADAS Programming & Diagnostic Specialist to join our team in Phoenix. This is an in-office position supporting technicians across multiple markets.
Position Summary
This role serves as the technical backbone of our field operations. You will remotely support technicians performing diagnostics, programming, module replacements, vehicle scans, and ADAS calibrations while ensuring OEM procedures are followed.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with vehicle diagnostics, OEM software, programming, ADAS systems, and remote support platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform remote vehicle programming and module configuration.
- Support field technicians with advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Review repair orders and create programming and calibration estimates.
- Assist with pre-scan, post-scan, and calibration review processes.
- Answer incoming calls from technicians requiring technical assistance.
- Research OEM repair procedures and programming requirements.
- Identify calibration, programming, and diagnostic opportunities.
- Troubleshoot network, communication, and module-related faults.
- Support collision centers and internal teams with technical questions.
- Ensure programming and calibration procedures meet OEM requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed services.
- Work closely with operations, billing, and management teams to maximize repair opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of automotive diagnostic experience.
- 3+ years of vehicle programming experience.
- Previous experience working for a remote diagnostics/programming provider preferred (Astech, AirPro, Opus IVS, Repairify, OEM support center, dealership diagnostic team, etc.).
- Strong understanding of ADAS systems and calibration procedures.
- Experience with OEM diagnostic and programming software.
- Ability to interpret OEM service information and repair procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and vehicle communication systems.
- Experience supporting technicians remotely.
- Excellent phone communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certifications (especially L1).
- OEM certifications.
- Previous dealership technician experience.
- Previous ADAS technician experience.
- Collision industry experience.
- Experience using OEM scan tools and J2534 programming platforms.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
