Construction Project Manager
Location: San Antonio, TX (In-Person)
About the Role
RoadRunner Home Buyers is looking for a highly organized Construction Operations Manager to oversee multiple residential renovation projects. This person will be responsible for ensuring projects stay on schedule, job sites remain clean and organized, materials are ordered on time, budgets are tracked, and contractors are held accountable.
This is a hands-on position that requires visiting multiple job sites every day.
Responsibilities
- Visit every active project daily.
- Ensure work is progressing according to schedule.
- Verify quality of workmanship meets company standards.
- Ensure all job sites remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Photograph and document daily progress.
- Communicate deficiencies to contractors and ensure they are corrected.
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractors and keep projects moving.
- Order materials from suppliers (Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon, local vendors, etc.).
- Ensure materials arrive before they're needed.
- Track all material purchases by project.
- Maintain an accurate budget for every project.
- Record labor payments and material expenses.
- Report cost overruns immediately.
- Perform final walkthroughs before cleaning, staging, and listing.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure required repairs are completed.
- Meet with vendors and subcontractors as needed.
- Provide daily updates to ownership.
Qualifications
- Experience managing residential construction or remodeling projects.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, Buildertrend, Monday.com, or similar software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Detail-oriented and able to hold contractors accountable.

Compensation
- Salary: $40,000–$70,000+ depending on experience
- Performance bonuses based on project completion, staying on budget, and meeting timelines.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
