WE ARE GROWING !!! We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Childcare Center Assistant Director to lead and inspire our early childhood education community. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, fostering a nurturing environment for children, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs. As a leader, you will coordinate staff, manage budgets, develop curriculum, and build strong relationships with families and community partners. Your passion for early childhood development and strategic vision will drive the success of our center and positively impact the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide dynamic leadership to staff, including supervising teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff to promote a collaborative team environment.
- Assist with developing and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that support children's growth across all domains.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance program quality, expand community outreach, and achieve long-term goals.
- Assist with compliance related to licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
- Foster positive relationships with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community engagement activities.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts and community partnerships to support program enhancements and facility improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in education administration, management or a lead teacher within early childhood or childcare settings.
- Strong background in curriculum development, classroom experience, and working directly with young children.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle budgeting, strategic planning, and operational oversight.
- Effective public speaking skills to communicate confidently with staff, families, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Knowledge of licensing standards, health regulations, and best practices in early childhood education.
