Benbrook Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assisting with resident assessments and developing care plans.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and individualized care.
- Providing wound care and dressing changes.
- Assisting with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Educating residents and their families on health conditions and self-care techniques.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements:
- Valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Texas or Multistate License.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care facility.
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in administering medications and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
