Job Description: E-Commerce Assistant (Entry Level)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-orientated E-Commerce Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to build a career in e-commerce, combining digital content management with hands-on operational support in a warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Operations:
- Process e-commerce orders, including picking, packing, and shipping products.
- Assist in testing, grading, and manifesting electronic devices for online listings.
- Help with preparing and wrapping pallets for shipments.
- Cross-train in areas such as inventory management, receiving, and order tracking.
- Lift and move boxes and materials around the facility as needed.
Customer Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries with clear, professional communication.
- Provide updates on orders, resolve basic issues, and escalate concerns to the appropriate team member as needed.
Team Collaboration:
- Take direction from team leads and act accordingly to meet daily operational needs.
- Support ongoing projects and tasks as assigned, maintaining flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Learn to monitor product sales and performance using basic web analytics and spreadsheets.
- Assist in maintaining organized records and tracking sales trends.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in e-commerce , customer service , or warehouse operation is helpful but not required.
Technical Skills:
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel (experience with pivot tables or VLOOKUPs is a plus)
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills to handle customer inquiries effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions from team leads.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Physical Requirements:
Comfortable lifting boxes and moving materials in a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
