Arcadia Montessori is seeking a dedicated, reliable, teacher who believes in the Montessori curriculum and aiding in the development of the child. We are centrally located in Phoenix, Arizona and are celebrating our 54th year. Arcadia Montessori has spacious indoor and outdoor environments for the children to explore.
AMI or AMS 0-3 certification and at least two years of lead teaching in a Montessori classroom experience is required. Hours are from 7:00am-3:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging Montessori lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Provide support for children with special needs and implement early intervention strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues and classroom partners to enhance curriculum development and classroom practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
