Core Duties-
Oversee the day-to-day functions of the tool crib to guarantee that essential equipment and materials are ready for production and maintenance tasks.

Handle the distribution, intake, and monitoring of various items including gauges, cutting tools, hand tools, safety gear, and maintenance components.

Keep precise logs of all stock using digital inventory platforms or ERP software.

Conduct routine physical audits and cycle counts to ensure the integrity of inventory data.

Track stock quantities and alert relevant staff when it is time to reorder supplies.

Process incoming deliveries by checking shipment accuracy and placing items in their designated storage spots.

Keep storage zones tidy and structured to facilitate quick and easy retrieval of necessary items.

Check equipment for signs of damage or degradation to ensure that repairs or replacements are handled promptly.

Collaborate with departments like Engineering, Purchasing, and Maintenance to fulfill specific tooling and material demands.

Support the oversight of vital spare parts to help reduce equipment downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

Address immediate needs from the production floor while ensuring strict adherence to inventory protocols.

Document all transactions involving tool check-outs, returns, maintenance, and calibration.

Seek out ways to enhance the overall organization, precision, and speed of inventory processes.

Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all established safety guidelines.

Complete additional tasks and duties as requested by management.
Requirements-
Possession of a GED or high school diploma is mandatory.

At least two years of background in industrial settings such as warehouses, tool cribs, or maintenance storerooms is preferred.

Prior familiarity with ERP or digital inventory tracking tools is highly desirable.

Demonstrate exceptional organizational capabilities and a keen eye for detail.

Show proficiency in tracking stock levels and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Work Environment-
This role is situated in a manufacturing facility where you will encounter industrial machinery, chemical materials, and heavy equipment traffic.

Expect varying noise levels throughout the facility, necessitating the use of specific personal protective equipment as required.

The role involves frequent standing, walking, and physical movements such as bending, reaching, and handling various tools.

You must be physically capable of lifting or transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
