Hotel Front Desk Agent
The Gem Museum Suites
Evanston, IL
A newly opened hotel in the heart of downtown Evanston seeking individuals to work the night shift as well as weekends.
Qualifications
Preferably to have the following qualifications:
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft word and excel
- Must have some college related courses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Some experience in hotel related field preferred or pervious customer service experience
- Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the day
- Flexibility to work holidays and weekends
- Valid Driver License
About the Job
- Welcoming guests to the hotel when they arrive and properly checking them in and out their rooms in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Organize guest reservations verbally or electronically that is consistent with the hotel brand and standards.
- Accommodating guest special requests whenever possible and resolving customer complaints.
- Understand hotel procedures thoroughly to communicate to guest security procedures if needed.
- Communicate with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs and timely turnover of rooms.
- Drive a shuttle as needed
