JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our retail team. The Retail Merchandiser candidates are organized, self-motivated and friendly. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing retail stores, creating visually appealing displays, and managing stock levels. Your expertise in visual design, store management, and inventory control will help drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Maintains customer relationships by visiting and communicating with store partners and department managers; answering their questions; responding to special requests; describing product features.
- Develop and execute optimum display of products by using visual design principles to maximize sales potential. Removes damaged or dated products, tidying store shelves.
- Manage stock levels through inventory management, stock replenishment, and stock rotation to ensure product availability, prompts store management to reorder when levels appear low; arrange for return and credit for damaged products.
- Maintain organization and safety standards by adhering to protocols and guidelines, including heavy lifting procedures.
- Report on a regular basis in store observations to account manager regarding any product concerns, outdated , inventory, or out-of-stock situations.
- Complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, surveys, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
- Local travel and driving are essential duties and function of this job
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in merchandising, and territory management.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation to commute to assigned stores and retailers.
- Have a good driving history and successfully complete a motor vehicle screening.
- Excellent, interpersonal, verbal, written, communication and leadership skills.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor with the public, and store personnel when performing your duties· The ability to be proactive in problem solving is desirable.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management, and business groups throughout the organization.
- Demonstrate superior customer service, and client relationship orientation skills.
- Product knowledge and pays close attention to details.·
- Highly self-motivated and self-managed individual.
- Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple priorities such as merchandising tasks, store servicing duties, and customer interactions
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The Retail Merchandiser is a hands-on position, and must be able to spend the majority of their work shift standing, walking, bending, and lifting. In addition, they must also have the ability to lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/COMMENTS
Because of various circumstances that arise on a daily basis in the Retail Department; the staff member must be able to adapt well, and professionally, to changes quickly.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
