Position Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Power BI Developer to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data modernization initiatives across clinical, operational, and business departments for a hospital system in Florida. This individual will play a key role in the organization's ongoing migration from Tableau to Power BI while supporting reporting solutions built on Epic data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Support the migration of existing Tableau reports and dashboards into Power BI.
- Gather requirements from business users and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Design efficient and scalable data models to support enterprise reporting needs.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Work with healthcare datasets to support clinical, operational, and financial initiatives.
- Analyze existing reports and identify opportunities for consolidation, automation, and improvement.
- Perform data validation and testing to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and production deployments.
- Document reporting solutions and development processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Strong Power BI development experience including: Data modeling, DAX, Dataset design, & Dashboard development
- Advanced SQL development experience.
- Experience working with large datasets and business reporting environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite five days per week in Sunrise, FL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a healthcare environment.
- Experience working with Epic reporting platforms, including: Epic Clarity, Cogito, Caboodle
- Experience supporting a Tableau-to-Power BI migration initiative.
- Experience partnering with operational and clinical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
