Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tri Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate a specialized heavy-duty dump truck equipped with three axles, responsible for transporting and dumping materials across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, safe operations, and adherence to all safety regulations. we require pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing as required by law. you will be required to accurately complete daily truck rental tickets, pre trip logs and employee time sheets
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tri axle dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other construction supplies to designated sites.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck, checking mechanical systems, brakes, lights, to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of load counts and time on the job.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate delivery and site requirements.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations.
- report mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy trucks and dump trucks.
- Proven 2 years' experience operating tri axle dump trucks in construction or related environments.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
- Knowledge of construction materials transportation regulations and best practices for load securement.
