The Creek, A Middle School Youth Center, is looking for a few fun, energetic, creative, and active candidates to join our team! This position would have you engage with students tk to 5th grade or middle school students in various activities, including but not limited to small and large group games, child and teacher-directed projects, and collaborative problem-solving. You will be joining a fun and passionate team!
Multiple locations in Walnut Creek.
Teacher Position
Qualifications:
18+ years old, 12 units in qualified classes with at least 3 units in early childhood (Transcripts need to be sent when applying)
(1) Recreation, which includes, but is not limited to, art, music, and dance.
(2) Physical education, which includes, but is not limited to, indoor and outdoor sports activities.
(3) Human services and social welfare, which includes, but is not limited to, nursing, psychology, sociology, or home economics.
(4) Units earned toward an elementary or middle school teaching credential.
(5) Early childhood education, child development, or school-age
Assistant Teacher Position Qualifications: 18+ years old
Experience working with school-age students preferred.
