JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position. However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.
- Work to ensure resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards
- Follow defined welding, stamping and repack procedures and comply with quality requirements.
- Ensure full adherence to 5S Standards at all times
- Ensure all production inspection forms are completed appropriately
- Ensure that non-conforming parts are clearly identified and isolated
- Ensure that the escalation procedure for quality concerns are followed
- Observes machines to detect errors or malfunctions and orders corrective actions
- Prepare line set-ups for following shifts, including first piece buyoffs
- Activate labels for bin location and quantities.
- Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated tasks
- Enforce all safety and quality processing procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies
- Keeps work areas clean and orderly.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities.
- Able and willing to work any shift assigned, weekends and overtime
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proven technical ability
- Knowledge of stamping and/or welding processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven manufacturing skills
- Ability to effectively complete multiple tasks
Required Experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
