American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT (R) certification for a day-shift assignment.

Work in the Interventional Radiology department performing special procedures
-
5x8-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
-
Call requirement every 3rd week, covering weekdays 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM and 24-hour weekend/holiday coverage

Uses Cerner and Merge PACS documentation systems

Utilizes Siemens fluoroscopy equipment
-
Minimum of 2 years of IR technologist experience required
-
ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
-
ARRT (VI) certification preferred
-
CT license required if applicable; will accept candidates with license pending
-
First-time travelers considered only with extensive IR technologist experience
-
Skilled in procedures including angioplasty, aortography, embolization, IVC filter placement/removal, stent placement, TIPS, nephrostomy, and biliary drainage
-
Experience with dialysis graft creation/revision and central venous access/PICC line placement preferred
-
Proficient in equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and access site preparation

Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE use, and rapid response/code team protocols

Responsibilities include performing a wide range of vascular, genitourinary, and abdominal/pelvic interventional procedures

Maintains equipment, stocks supplies, and adheres to infection control and sterile technique standards

Candidates within 75 miles are considered local and may be offered a reduced rate
