Estimating Coordinator - Structural Concrete Construction
Job Summary:
The Estimating Coordinator provides administrative support to the Estimating Division and reports directly to, and collaborates closely with, the Director of Preconstruction and Estimating. They also have regular interactions with other Estimators. On assigned projects, they take direction from the lead Estimator. They also have regular interactions with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Accounting Specialists.
Responsibilities:
The essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain and update the estimating schedule.
- Schedule and manage attendance of estimating team and project-specific meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
- Maintain estimating files and information on PSSI’s server.
- Create, manage and update the bidding directories.
- Request sub pricing at the direction of the lead estimator.
- Complete bid bond request forms.
- Perform all public bid document/administrative duties.
- Assist in completing trade partner prequalification request forms.
- Attend pre-bid project walks, and take and distribute notes to the lead estimator.
- Assist the lead estimator with making bid coverage phone calls and emails.
- Assist the lead estimator in distributing updated project information.
- Assist estimators in conveying feedback to bidders.
- Drafting proposals including scopes, cover letters, and bidding documentation.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience performing estimation or similar project administration duties is required.
Technical Skills:
- Experience performing accurate, high-volume data entry, clerical, and general administrative duties is required.
- Experience with Procore or a similar project management system is preferred.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Experience with Bluebeam or other PDF-editing software is preferred.

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while performing computer-based job duties.
- Ability to stand, walk and move about the office as needed.
- Stooping, crouching, and kneeling in basic office operations.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, and operating standard office equipment.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
- Visual acuity required to review detailed project information on a computer screen and in printed form.
Work environment:
- This role primarily works in a professional, climate-controlled office environment.
- Noise levels are generally moderate, consistent with a business office environment (i.e., business office with computers, phone, printers, and light traffic).
- At times, higher noise levels may be present due to work being performed in adjacent work yard.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
